The action "Ready to Serve the Motherland!" was held at the Glubokoye City House of Culture.

Everyone gathered in the hall of the City House of Culture was warmly welcomed by Tatyana Tarasevich, Deputy Chairperson of the Glubokoye District Executive Committee.

– The prestige of military service is growing every year. This can be judged by our event today, by the wonderful exhibition presented by military educational institutions. It is gratifying to note that school graduates from the district annually enroll in higher educational institutions that train specialists for the country's Armed Forces, – noted Tatyana Leonidovna.

Colonel Igor Belecalo, First Deputy Head of the Military Faculty of the Belarusian State Academy of Aviation, spoke about the admission requirements for higher educational institutions of the country for obtaining military specialties, and about the fact that service in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus provides young people with broad opportunities for self-realization, a decent standard of living, and high social status.

During the event, an exhibition was held, which featured samples of weapons and various equipment. Discussions and consultations were held on issues of admission to military educational institutions and service in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus.

Sergey Krasnodubsky, Military Commissar of the Glubokoye and Sharkovshchina districts, Tatyana Gavrilova, Head of the Education Department of the Glubokoye District Executive Committee, teachers from the Military Medical Institute of the Belarusian State Medical University, the Belarusian State Academy of Aviation, military faculties of BSU and other universities of the capital also took an active part in the career guidance event.
