In the Glubokoye district, the owner of the house died in a fire

On February 15, at 10:35 AM, rescuers received a report of smoke in a house on Shkolny Lane in the agro-town of Golubichi, Gluboksky District.

Upon arrival at the scene, dense smoke was observed in the one-story wooden house.

The homeowner, born in 1978, lived with his wife. At the time of the fire, the woman was not at home. The bodies of her husband were discovered by the Ministry of Emergency Situations employees in the living room on the bed.

As a result of the fire, the roof of the house was destroyed, and the ceiling, walls, and property were damaged.

The presumed cause is careless handling of fire while smoking.

Rescuers remind you: observe fire safety rules at home, do not allow smoking in unauthorized places, including residential premises. Never smoke in bed or in an armchair – a tired or intoxicated person cannot always control their actions. Do not allow smoking near flammable and combustible liquids. Do not throw unextinguished cigarettes or matches out of windows or balconies to prevent them from falling onto neighboring ones, and when leaving the apartment, close the windows and balcony doors. Make sure that matches and cigarettes are completely extinguished after use. Remember: one unextinguished cigarette can ruin more than one human life!
