Preventive measures continue in the Glubokoye district

As part of the republican preventive campaign "For Safety Together," employees of the Glubokoye District Department for Emergency Situations, together with prevention entities, held a village meeting in the village of Stanuli, Glubokoye district, where they discussed life safety issues.

The morning of the residents of the village of Stanuli, Glubokoye district, was united by a village meeting, which was attended by the head of the Glubokoye District Department for Emergency Situations, Vasily Zavadsky, representatives of the unitary enterprise "GlubokoeGaz," the Glubokoye inter-district department of the branch of GosenergoGazNadzor for the Vitebsk region, the Ozerecsky rural executive committee, as well as the residents of the village.

The choice was not accidental. After all, in February, a case of a citizen's death in a fire was recorded in the village of Stanuli.

A representative of the rescue service noted that in 2024, 5 fires occurred in the territory of the rural council, and one in the current year. Vasily Zavadsky gave examples of fire incidents and urged villagers to think about their own safety. He also reminded them of the need to install autonomous fire detectors in residential premises and explained how to keep the device in working order.

— Unfortunately, human carelessness often becomes the cause of tragedies. Hoping for "what if," we risk our lives and the lives of our loved ones, – warned the rescuer. To avoid tragedies, install an autonomous fire detector in your home, – adds the representative of the rescue department.

During the event, the head of the department informed the residents about the main causes of fires, warning about the inadmissibility of smoking in bed while intoxicated, and dwelled in detail on the republican preventive campaign "For Safety Together," as well as precautions when tidying up adjacent territories.

In conclusion of the meeting, representatives of the prevention entities answered questions of interest and presented everyone with handouts containing useful tips.
