Visiting the rescuers – the sports and health group "Edelweiss"!

On the eve of their professional holiday, the sports and health group “Edelweiss” of the Glubokoye Physical Culture and Health Center paid a visit to the rescuers.

 

The friendly team “Edelweiss,” whose participants are active seniors, came to congratulate the staff of the Glubokoye District Department for Emergency Situations on their professional holiday – Fire Service Day. The employees of the “101” service received congratulations, musical performances, poems, and words of gratitude for their difficult and heroic work.

The inspector of the propaganda and public relations sector of the department welcomed the first guests in the renovated section after major repairs. She conducted a tour and spoke about the history of the Glubokoye District Department for Emergency Situations.

The participants of “Edelweiss” got acquainted in more detail with the rescuers' equipment and vehicles.

The Deputy Head of the Department, Oleg Solodky, discussed fire safety rules, the main causes of fire emergencies, and preventive measures to avoid them. He demonstrated the principle of fire extinguisher operation and touched upon seasonal measures
