In the Holy Trinity Church in Glubokoye, the 35th anniversary of the service of the Franciscan Sisters of the Family of Mary in Belarus and in Glubokoye was celebrated

Numerous believers, representatives of local authorities, and clergy gathered at the Holy Trinity Church in Glubokoye to congratulate the Franciscan Sisters of the Family of Mary on a significant date – the 35th anniversary of their service in Belarus and in Glubokoye.

The festive divine service was led by Bishop of Vitebsk Oleg Butkevich. In his sermon, he offered prayers for the sisters, parishioners, and representatives of the authorities, emphasizing the importance of their joint efforts in spiritual and public life.

The festive event was attended by Petr Belus, Chairman of the Glubokoye District Executive Committee, Vera Telitsa, Chairman of the District Council of Deputies, and Lyudmila Karnilovich, Head of the Department of Ideological Work and Youth Affairs of the District Executive Committee. They warmly welcomed Bishop Oleg Butkevich.

Petr Belus, Chairman of the Glubokoye District Executive Committee, sincerely thanked Bishop Oleg Butkevich for the divine service, wishing him good health, well-being, and success in his future ministry.

During the divine service, special emphasis was placed on the invaluable contribution of the Franciscan Sisters to the life of the parish and the entire Glubokoye region.

Not only those who continue their service today were remembered, but also those who left an indelible mark.

Sister Alzhbeta, whose activities became the starting point for the founding of the congregation in Glubokoye in 1990, was remembered with warmth and respect. Her dedication and faith inspired many and laid the foundation for the sisters' long-term work. Sisters Gabriela and Teresa, whose lives became an example of true Christian mercy, were also remembered with gratitude.

Petr Belus congratulated the sisters on the 35th anniversary of their noble service, wishing them good health, inexhaustible spiritual strength, spiritual wisdom, and well-being.

– Dear sisters! Your entire lives are dedicated to serving God. You go to people, bringing peace, goodness, and joy. Your calling is to help the weak, to always be the light of Jesus, to pray for all whom you meet on your path. Your activity, energy, your openness, and your warmth of heart are invaluable. May the goodness you generously give to people return to you in full measure.

35 years is a significant milestone, which testifies to the devotion, selflessness, and deep faith of the Franciscan Sisters of the Family of Mary. Their service in Belarus, filled with care for their neighbors, spiritual support, and mercy, has become an integral part of the lives of many people. Today's celebration is not only an occasion for congratulations but also an opportunity to express sincere gratitude for their tireless work and dedication to their calling.
