In Novopolotsk, at an off-site meeting chaired by Natalia Kochanova, issues of the efficiency of the housing and communal services sector were discussed.

An on-site meeting of the Council for Interaction of Local Self-Government Bodies under the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, chaired by the Chairperson of the Council of the Republic Natalya Kochanova, was held in Novopolotsk today.
The work began with a visit to the Novopolotsk Regional Municipal Solid Waste Management Complex, where the meeting participants were introduced to the technology for processing solid municipal waste, an exhibition of finished products, and special equipment.
Next, the participants of the on-site meeting of the Council for Interaction of Local Self-Government Bodies under the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus proceeded to discuss the main topic – measures taken to improve housing and communal services for the population, and the improvement of approaches and mechanisms for their provision.
– Housing and communal services are a priority in our activities. After all, people judge how the government works by the housing and communal services sector. If it's warm, clean, and bright, then it's good. We need to see and hear people, and based on this, make decisions that will yield results. You see more on the ground, – emphasized Natalya Kochanova.
The Minister of Housing and Communal Services of Belarus Gennady Trubilo outlined a number of the most important areas in the work of housing and communal services, including the capital repair of the housing stock, the activities of the 115 service, landscaping, and ensuring the population with centralized water supply and sewerage.
