It is necessary to soberly assess the danger that connection with drugs poses to any person.

A vivid example of this is the story of a young man, a resident of the town of Glubokoye, who collected wild-growing plants of the Cannabis genus in the Glubokoye district, part of which he subsequently used, and part he transported in a passenger car and illegally kept with him, without thinking about the consequences of his actions.

At the same time, such facts of illegal activity do not go unnoticed by law enforcement agencies; they are regularly monitored and identified by departments and administrations for drug control and counteraction to internal affairs bodies.

The result of the young man's choice of this life path was ultimately 2 years of imprisonment with a suspended sentence of 1 year, imposed on him by the verdict of the Glubokoye District Court. The evidence collected and presented in the case at the court hearing by the state prosecution did not allow the "thrill-seeker" to escape responsibility and gave the court sufficient grounds for his conviction under Part 1 of Article 328 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus for illegal acquisition, storage, transportation of narcotic drugs without the purpose of sale.

Undoubtedly, these measures of responsibility are quite severe, however, it is worth understanding that, in addition to drug addicts themselves, drugs pose a threat to many people in one way or another, among whom children are often found.

It is also worth remembering that a person is not always able to overcome this addiction, which can begin even after the first experience of drug use. In this regard, it is simply necessary to remember that by making the wrong choice once, you risk ruining your life and the lives of your loved ones forever.
