From August 16 to September 10, the Glubokoye district will host the republican preventive campaign "Children in Focus!", timed to coincide with the start of the school year and aimed at drawing public attention to the problem of child injuries and deaths from fires due to leaving them unattended.

The first stage of the campaign will take place from August 16 to 31 in large shopping centers and other retail outlets specializing in the sale of goods for preschool and school-aged children. Rescuers will remind parents that when preparing children for school, they should not forget about safety rules, which cannot be bought, but can only be taught to their child by themselves. Preventive work will be carried out with parents and children to prevent emergencies. Rescuers and members of young rescuer-firefighter clubs will remind about the causes of emergencies, including those involving children, explain how to behave correctly to preserve life and health, explain what carelessness with fire can lead to, and present small back-to-school gifts from the Ministry of Emergency Situations: brochures, memos, booklets, etc.
The second stage of the campaign within the framework of the Unified Safety Day is planned from September 1 to 10 in educational institutions, where Ministry of Emergency Situations employees will conduct thematic "Safety Lessons", briefings for teaching staff and in labor collectives of enterprises and organizations, where the emphasis will be on training in safety rules and actions in case of emergencies.
