Visit of a clergyman

In March, the Glubokoye District Department for Emergency Situations, as part of its interaction with the Belarusian Orthodox Church, was visited by Father Sergius, the rector of the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the town of Glubokoye.

During his visit, the clergyman offered a prayer for the preservation of the health of body and spiritual peace for all employees of the department, their loved ones and relatives. Father Sergius also held a conversation, during which he spoke about the heroism of the "rescuer" profession, the importance of building friendly relationships in families and in the work collective, and about mental balance.

Afterwards, all service premises, equipment, and the rescuers themselves were consecrated. It should be noted that such meetings are held regularly and help many employees to feel the importance of their work, as well as to ask pressing spiritual questions.
