The hooligan to answer

The Prosecutor's Office of the Glubokoe District supported the state prosecution against a 48-year-old resident of Glubokoe, who is accused of intentional actions that grossly violate public order and express clear disrespect for society, accompanied by the use of violence and threats of its use (Part 1 of Article 339 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus).
According to the materials of the criminal case, citizen K., on April 9, 2024, between 2:11 PM and 2:41 PM, being in a state of alcoholic intoxication, in a public place – a route bus traveling on a specific route, realizing his criminal intent to commit intentional actions that grossly violate public order and express clear disrespect for society, accompanied by the use of violence and threats of its use, seeking to demonstrate brute force, drunken bravado, particular audacity, and to show his disregard for generally accepted rules of conduct in public places, the rights and legitimate interests of citizens, and to demonstrate his capacity for lawlessness, intentionally, purposefully, out of hooligan motives, without cause, repeatedly, in a rude manner, using obscene language, uttered threats of violence against the passengers of the bus, and also intentionally used violence against the passengers of the bus, namely, struck four individuals several times with his fists on various parts of their bodies, causing various bodily injuries, physical pain, and beatings.
As a result of K.'s unlawful actions, the bus movement was temporarily suspended.
K. fully admitted his guilt in the committed crime.
Taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, the court rendered a guilty verdict against citizen K. under Part 1 of Article 339 of the Criminal Code, and he was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months of imprisonment.
The verdict has entered into legal force.
