The Ozaretsky village council hosted the anniversary relay race dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the formation of the Gluboksky district.

The event brought together young students and labor veterans of Ozarechchina.

The attendees warmly and heartily welcomed the former director of the "Ozertsy" state farm, Cavalier of the Order of the Red Banner of Labour and the Order of Lenin, Pyotr Ivanovich Mezheinin, the renowned grain growers, Cavalier of the Order of Lenin Anton Kazimirovich Sadovsky and Cavalier of the Order of Honour Pyotr Feodosyevich Lukashevich, the glorious worker, former deputy chief accountant of the farm, and now the elder of the village of Kaminschina, Aldona Iosifovna Khokholko, veterans, representatives of the rural intelligentsia, wonderful cultural workers Lidiya Konstantinovna Zavatskaya and Tatyana Alekseevna Myshkovskaya, veteran of pedagogical work, former school director Pyotr Vladimirovich Kolyago.

The participants of the meeting-dialogue warmly welcomed the Chairperson of the Ozaretsky village executive committee Svetlana Anashkevich and the director of the Ozaretsky secondary school, deputy of the Gluboksky District Council of Deputies Lyudmila Lukashevich, and guests from the district center: Chairperson of the Gluboksky District Council of Deputies Vera Telitsa, Head of the Department of Ideological Work and Youth Affairs Lyudmila Karnilovich, and Head of the Education Department of the District Executive Committee Tatyana Gavrilova.

Almost every participant of the event took a direct part in the interactive multimedia lecture "Gluboksky District: Events and People," presented by Vladimir Mironchik, a researcher at the district historical and ethnographic museum. It was a captivating virtual journey through the pages of the truly heroic labor chronicle of our region.

Svetlana Vatslavovna Anashkevich expressed many words of gratitude to her fellow countrymen for their selfless work, for their loyalty and devotion to their native land.
