From October 18 to October 29, events aimed at preventing fires and deaths from them in the housing stock will be held throughout the country as part of the republican campaign "Together for Safety!".

The goal of the campaign is to reduce the number of fires caused by non-compliance with fire safety rules in residential buildings and structures, settlements and territories, to increase public awareness of the capabilities of state organizations in providing services in the field of fire safety, to strengthen law and order, and to prevent offenses committed by citizens while intoxicated. The campaign events are aimed at improving the level of public safety, activating fire prevention work, analyzing its effectiveness, and assessing the readiness of territories and citizens' households for the autumn-winter fire-hazardous period.

During the campaign, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations will inform the public about the state of fire safety, explain to citizens the consequences of non-compliance with fire safety rules, leaving children unattended, and alcohol abuse. They will assist republican state administration bodies, local executive and administrative bodies, and other organizations in training citizens in fire safety measures in everyday life and at work, as well as volunteer fire brigades in organizing fire prevention work. In addition, the attention of local executive and administrative bodies will be focused on the need to conduct regular and targeted work to ensure fire safety in the relevant territory, including improving the level of fire protection for the homes and apartments of lonely elderly citizens and disabled people.

During the campaign, every citizen can contact the territorial emergency management body to inspect the fire safety condition of their dwelling. To do this, it is enough to call the Ministry of Emergency Situations numbers 101 or 112.
