President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, at a meeting in the Lyuban district, spoke about his immediate plans to familiarize himself with the production and use of fuel pellets, a BELTA correspondent reports.
The issue of fuel pellets was raised during a meeting on the commissioning of a mining and processing complex for the production of potash fertilizers in the Lyuban district. Alexander Lukashenko generally focused on ways to develop the production sector, create new enterprises, and develop existing competencies.
"We need to pay more attention at the presidential level to promising areas of our development," emphasized the Belarusian leader.
The use of local fuel raw materials, and in particular, the production of pellets from wood waste, is one of these areas, which Alexander Lukashenko instructed to develop several years ago. His immediate plans include familiarizing himself with practical examples of how this has been implemented.
"We will look at another promising area. At one time, I ordered the construction of several pellet production plants. There is a sea of junk and garbage in the forest. Grind everything, process it, and make granules to heat premises. We started doing it. We fell under sanctions. They groan: "No one to sell to!". We don't need to sell, let's use it ourselves. We made boilers," said the head of state. - Wood chips, pellets instead of natural gas and oil, petroleum products. We will see how a regular provincial enterprise has been modernized and what products it produces. This is also our prospect - processing of these wood wastes. There is a sea of them in the forest. And here the pressure will be very serious. What difference does it make to people where the heat comes from. And we burn what is being lost, and we get effect and benefit from it."
Александр Лукашенко отметил, что уделять внимание этому и иным перспективным направлениям сейчас особенно важно, чтобы продемонстрировать новому поколению путь развития страны. "Они должны видеть систему нашей работы. Захотят - пусть берут на вооружение в будущем. Не захотят - пусть предложат лучше. Но потом с них же народ белорусский спросит. Очень важно, чтобы они понимали, что это наш путь, мы демонстрируем молодежи этот путь. И за пятилетку мы должны это сделать".
