Resident of the village Plisa Zinaida Narushevich celebrates her 100th birthday

Zinaida Vasilyevna has lived a difficult but long life...

She was born on February 10, 1926, in the village of Pristan, Pskov region. Her parents died before the war, and Zina, her sister Maria, and brother Pavel were orphaned early. They lived with relatives on their mother's side. In the autumn of 1942, the Germans took the residents of the village and surrounding settlements, adults and children, to a concentration camp located in Slutsk, Belarus. Zina was there until the spring of 1944. After the liberation of Belarus, the children were first sent to Postavy, and then everyone was distributed among the villages of the neighboring districts.

Former prisoner Zina, along with her sister Maria, was brought to the village of Usovo, Podsvilsky district. In Glubochchina, Zinaida Vasilyevna met her love, married a local young man, had three children, and worked as a milkmaid on a local farm.

Currently, the woman lives with her granddaughter Natalya Rogach on Glubokskaya Street in the village of Plissa. Chairman of the District Council of Deputies Vera Telitsa, Director of the Territorial Center for Social Services of the Population of Gluboksky District Viktor Vasyukovich, Chairman of the Plissa Rural Executive Committee Vasily Plissko, and Director of UP "Mnyuto" Zhanna Shinkevich came to congratulate Zinaida Vasilyevna on her significant anniversary.

Guests presented the jubilee with flowers, gifts, and wished her health, optimism, and long life. Vasily Plissko presented Zinaida Narushevich with a new Belarusian citizen passport, wishing her to be an example of longevity for all elderly people of Glubochchyna.
