FEZ Vitebsk doubles payments to budget in January-April
VITEBSK, 24 May (BelTA) – In January-April 2010 the residents of the free economic zone Vitebsk increased the payments to the budget more than two times to Br15.4 billion, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Vitebsk oblast inspectorate of the Ministry for Taxes and Duties. In January-April the payments of the FEZ residents accounted for 1.4% in the consolidated budget revenue, up 0.9% as against the same months last year. 33 companies-FEZ residents are on the register on the inspectorates of the Ministry for Taxes and Duties. The biggest tax-payers of them is the CHESS-BEL Company, Vityas, Okna-Invest, Fortex-water technologies, the Display construction bureau. They account for over 83% of the total tax payments. Besides, there are no arrears in the free economic zone. All in all, in January-April the consolidated budget of the oblast received almost Br1.1 trillion of revenues. Nearly Br513.5 billion went to the national budget and over Br584 billion – to the local budget. Excises make up 33.1% in the aggregate revenue, VAT totals 16.3%, income tax – 13.1%, profit tax – 8.5%. The payments of the companies and organizations made up nearly 95.4% of the budget revenue. The payments of sole traders accounted for 3%, corporate payments made up 1.6% of the budget revenue. In January-April 2010 the number of loss-making companies reduced by almost 16% to 941 as compared to the same period last year. The budget revenue is formed by almost 16,000 companies, nearly 29,500 businessmen and over 411,500 individuals.
