VITEBSK, 17 July (BelTA) – The friendship of the Russian and Belarusian peoples, the common roots and traditions create the spiritual basis of the Slavonic Bazaar Festival in Vitebsk, Boris Gryzlov, Chairman of the Belarus-Russia Parliamentary Assembly, Chairman of the State Duma of Russia, noted in his address to the Vitebsk festival. Boris Gryzlov underscored that the festival has become one of the biggest projects of the Belarus-Russia Union State. The Slavonic Bazaar in Vitebsk will promote the cultures, intensify mutual understanding between the peoples, says the address.
