The minister referred to the current week in Belarus as an Eco-Week. “The 3rd international exhibition Ecology Expo 2025 kicked off in Minsk on 19 August and solemnly closed on 21 August. It featured a record number of exhibitors - 183 - as well as visitors - almost 5,000 people in two and a half days. Dozens of contracts were signed. The goals we set for ourselves at this exhibition have been fulfilled. Foreign guests also participated. Those were representatives from Russia (both at the regional and federal levels), China, Mongolia, Brazil, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan. I believe the exhibition will be gaining popularity with each year,” he said.

The First National Ecological Forum was held in 2003 in Orsha. Subsequent host cities were Gorki (2004), Polotsk (2005), Myadel (2006), Braslav (2007), Rechitsa (2008), Belovezhskaya Pushcha (2009), Grodno (2010), Brest (2011), Molodechno (2012), Bobruisk (2013), Mozyr (2014, 2021), Minsk (2015), Vitebsk (2017), Novogrudok (2019), and Stolin (2023).
