VITEBSK, 5 August (BelTA) – In H1 2010 the Polotsk Dairy almost doubled its export to $11.5 million, the company told BelTA. In January-June the company exported to Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Armenia, Iran, Georgia. Besides, the first consignment of the Polotsk Dairy’s animal oil at the amount of 18.5 tonnes went to Syria via the Meat and Dairy Company. The plant plans to find direct partners in that country. Syrian businessmen paid a visit to the Polotsk Dairy in July 2010. “The guests praised the products of the company and showed an interest in the import of animal oil and milk powder,” the specialists said. The Polotsk company also plans to start deliveries to China. The relevant agreements were reached during a working trip of businessmen from the Heilongjiang Province to the Vitebsk Oblast. The first monthly consignments will make up preliminary 100 tonnes. Next year the supplies will be tripled. The negotiations are underway. Founded in 1987, the company produces 80 descriptions of dairy products under the Molochnoye Razdolye trademark. In January-June the company manufactured Br69.8 billion worth of products. The company employs over 600 people.
