The main justice department of the Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee intends to improve the technical maintenance of the registering bodies which were charged to conduct declarative state registration of businesses since February 1, 2009, Ilona Shulga, deputy head of the main justice department, told BelTA. According to her, in practice, the Vitebsk oblast is ready to introduce the declarative state registration of businesses. At present, specialists of the Vitebsk oblast are improving the communication network including the electronic communication between the regions and towns of the Vitebsk oblast to improve the efficiency of interrelation of all participants of declarative registration process. Moreover, taking into account the burden on registering bodies, the administrations of the regions are taking special measures to accept documents daily. Special training seminars will be held for specialists of the executive committees and regional administrations which will be involved in the declarative state registration of businesses. In 2008, the registering bodies of the Vitebsk oblast registered more than 6,000 new economic entities and organizations, proposed amendments and addenda to constitutive documents of more than 7,200 economic entities.
