VITEBSK, 27 August (BelTA) – The Vitebsk oblast will hold investment forums four times a year, Chairman of the Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee Alexander Kosinets told a session on 27 August. In January, April, July and October, the Vitebsk oblast will present business-projects and invite potential investors to discuss them. According to Alexander Kosinets, it will help the region promote the development of a business initiative and attract investors. Alexander Kosinets has charged the peat industry companies to prepare a presentation of their products. “Peat extraction companies should increase the export up to 200,000 tonnes of peat. So, they should enhance the promotion of their products,” Alexander Kosinets said. This year, the Vitebsk oblast held two investment forums – in March and July. The region showcased the most significant projects. Companies of the region concluded agreements at the amount of $350 million.
