VITEBSK, April 8 (BelTA) – Sportsmen from five countries will take part in the 5th national acrobatics tournament which will open in Vitebsk on April 10, BelTA learnt from Alexander Eroshevich, arbiter of the tournament. Within three days, more than 100 acrobats from Belarus, Russia, Poland, Lithuania and Moldova will compete in individual and collective events. The tournament will gather the strongest sportsmen of the countries-participants which consider the Vitebsk tournament as a preparation step for various international acrobatics tournaments and championships. As for the Belarusian athletes, the Vitebsk tournament will become the last competition before a tumbling World Cup which will be held in Sofia (Bulgaria) in late April this year. The rewarding ceremony of the winners of the tournament will be held on April 12 – the final day of the competition.
