VITEBSK, 8 July (BelTA) – German romantic Thomas Anders will take part in the 19th international art festival Slavonic Bazaar in Vitebsk and give his recital in the Summer Amphitheater at 10h00pm on 8 July. The singer hit his pinnacle of success in the 1980s when he performed together with Dieter Bohlen as Modern Talking duo. Some of their most loved and widely known singles are Cheri Cheri Lady, You’re My Heart, You’re My Soul, Independent Girl, Why Do You Cry. On the same day the Slavonic Bazaar attendees will enjoy a recital on Russian chanson star Elena Vayenga. The singer, actress and composer has become popular due to her strong voice, sincerity and touching singing manner. She has written over 800 songs and released 14 discs.
