VITEBSK, 14 July (BelTA) – The Youth Day will conclude the 20th international arts festival Slavonic Bazaar in Vitebsk, BelTA has learnt. The last day of the festival will start with a press conference of the BRSM Youth Union leaders. They will inform the public about the key events of the day. The longest and most interesting one will be the first international youth festival Fire Dance 2011 which will be held under the motto “Everybody Dance!” on the Victory Square after the patriotic rally “Thank You For Life!” Dancing and singing master classes as well as prize drawing will also be held there. The winners of the dancing marathon will be awarded in the evening; the awarding ceremony will be followed by a DJ battle that will last till late at night. On 14 July winners of the junior song contest Vitebsk 2011 will be announced. Renat Ibragimov will perform at the Vitebsk Regional Philharmonic; a soiree of Alexander Filippenko will be held at the Yakub Kolas Theatre. Valery Meladze will give a concert on stage of the summer amphitheatre. The solemn closing ceremony of the festival will feature Laima Vaikule, Yelena Vayenga, Tamara Gverdtsiteli, Larisa Dolina, winners of the international pop singers contest and junior song contest, the modern dance company D.O.Z.SK.I and Kyiv-Modern-Ballet, other artists.
