MINSK, 14 October (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated Belarusian women on Mother’s Day, BelTA learnt from the presidential press service. “There is nothing more important and dearer in the world than a family, a paternal home and true mother love. For everyone the word “mother” embodies the most loved one whose heart radiates the infinite tenderness and readiness to sacrifice everything for the sake of her sons and daughters. You are our main asset on the Earth. The saying is true that the future of the nation is in the mothers’ hands,” the message of congratulations says. Alexander Lukashenko stressed that all-round support to mothers and children, encouragement of families with many children are among the top priorities of the state. “Celebrating this day as a nationwide holiday, we pay tribute of respect to your great mission – giving birth and upbringing new people, preserving moral values of the society,” the President said. “Dear compatriots, in this modern tempo of life, we value you most for your ability to remain affectionate and kind wives and mothers able to believe, love and forgive. Let your cherished dreams come true, peace, concord and wellbeing reign at your homes and your children give you joy, care and heartwarming moments,” Alexander Lukashenko wished.
