MINSK, 16 July (BelTA) – Vladimir Andreichenko, the chairman of the House of Representatives, and Anatoly Rubinov, the chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus, will take part in the 3rd World Conference of Speakers of Parliament in Geneva on 19-21 July, BelTA learnt from the press service of the lower house of the Belarusian Parliament. The speakers of the two chambers are expected to make reports during the debates “Parliaments in a world of crisis: securing global democratic accountability for the common good.” Vladimir Andreichenko will speak on the global crisis and the key role of the parliament in the post-crisis development of the society. The speakers of the Belarusian Parliament are set to hold bilateral meetings with speakers of parliaments of several countries. Attending the forum will be more than 150 speakers of parliaments of the Inter-Parliamentary Union member states.
