Belarus-Germany’s ThermoIsoVit to invest ?4m in facade insulation systems
VITEBSK, 29 June (BelTA) – A Belarusian-German joint venture ThermoIsoVit registered as a FEZ Vitebsk resident company has plans to start the production of facade insulation systems, BelTA learnt from the investments and foreign economic links department of the Vitebsk Free Economic Zone. The investments in the project are estimated at ?4 million. The Belarusian-German tandem intends to construct production facilities in Vitebsk with a total area of 1,200 square meters. The project envisages setting up the manufacture of cutting-edge facade insulation systems. The advantages of these facade boards include a possibility to customize the color and decoration of facades due to the use of clinker tile. The technology to produce these facade insulation systems has been developed in Germany and boasts a series of technological know-how. Such facade systems can save up to 40% of thermal energy. It is an eco- friendly and non-waste production. The project will create over 30 new jobs. The finished products will be exported, mainly to Russia. FEZ Vitebsk was founded in August 1999. There are 34 residents in the free economic zone. The majority of them are engaged in the engineering and woodworking areas, food, chemical, fuel and light industries. The FEZ Vitebsk territory exceeds 1,200 hectares.
