MINSK, 13 July (BelTA) – The investments attracted by the Belarus Investment Forum in London exceed $3 billion, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Belarus to the UK Alexander Mikhnevich told media. “A very large number of contracts were signed at the Belarus Investment Forum. The package of investments born by the forum already exceeds $3 billion,” he said. According to Alexander Mikhnevich, now Belarus will have to work on it. “It is routine procedures now how fast we will implement the projects: how fast we will allocate lands, legalize property rights, find a team, and create joint ventures and so on,” remarked the Ambassador. BelTA reported earlier, the Belarus Investment Forum was held in London in November 2008. It was organised by the Belarusian National Investment Agency in association with the Economy Ministry and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the British company Eventica with assistance of the Belarusian embassy in the UK. The forum took place with assistance of the Council of Ministers of Belarus.
