MINSK, 3 January (BelTA) – Belarus raised the tariff for transportation of oil products on 1 January 2011. Belarus will charge $1.64 for transportation of every tonne of oil products per 100km, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Economy Ministry. The increase in the tariff is envisaged in Resolution No. 157 of the Economy Ministry “On the tariffs for transportation of oil products via Belarusian trunk pipelines” as of 1 November 2010. The resolution was adopted in line with the Belarusian-Russian intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in the operation of Belarusian oil trunk pipelines of 8 June 2004.
