MINSK, 14 March (BelTA) – Belarus has started working on the medium-term financial program for 2013-2015, in pursuance with Resolution No. 224 of the Council of Ministers of Belarus of 13 March 2012, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Government. The government has set up an inter-agency task group for the preparation of draft guidelines for fiscal and taxation policy in 2013 and the medium-term financial program for 2013-2015, pegging it to the key socio-economic development projections and the main monetary policy guidelines in Belarus. The task group will operate until 1 September 2012 and will be headed by Vice Premier Sergei Rumas. The task group will comprise Economy Minister Nikolai Snopkov, Finance Minister Andrei Kharkovets, representatives of the National Bank, the Taxes and Duties Ministry, the Labor and Social Security Ministry, and MPs. The task group will supervise the drafting of the main budget and tax policies for 2013 and a mid-term financial program for 2013-2015. It will also coordinate the development of a draft law on national budget for 2013. Government bodies will be involved if needed. The task group will hold meetings at least once a month.
