The House of Representatives of Belarus ratified the Belarusian-Russian agreement on cooperation in the production and mutual supplies of medicines on May 14. Health Minister of Belarus Vasily Zharko said that this agreement was signed in Minsk on December 14 2007, with a view to developing and expanding of Belarusian-Russian relations. The Health Minister noted that in line with the agreement, Belarus will not have to undergo the licensing procedure of its medicines that it exports to the Russian Federation. Belarus and Russia will develop cooperation in the area of drugs production, their advancement to the foreign markets.
