MINSK, 24 March (BelTA) – Chinese Government highly values cooperation between Belarusian and Chinese businessmen and is interested in its expansion, said Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Belarus Lu Guicheng at a meeting of business circles of Belarus and China on 23 March. Taking part in the meeting were top managers and representatives of more than twenty major Chinese corporations and companies. The visit of Chinese businessmen took place the day before the visit of the Chinese Vice-President Xi Jinping to Minsk. The businessmen of the two countries are thoroughly discussing the avenues of interaction. The direct links between the companies and corporations are the basis for trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and China. The Chinese Ambassador stressed that over 18 years of diplomatic relations the friendly relations between the two nations have strengthened and they are sustainably developing at the moment. “We understand and support each other in politics, and develop our trade and economic relations. It is crucial that our cooperation is being expanded in all fields,” Lu Guicheng said.
