MINSK, 26 July (BelTA) – The Belarusian Investment Forum will be held within the framework of the Euro Finance Week in German Frankfurt on 17 November 2010, Director of the Belarus National Investment Agency Viktor Kovalenko told a press conference in Minsk on 23 July, BelTA has learnt. The Belarusian forum in Germany will be similar to the 2008 Belarusian Investment Forum in London and the 2009 Belarusian Investment and Economic Forum. “The forum will promote Belarus’ investment possibilities. The most significant and interesting investment projects will be proposed to foreign investors,” Viktor Kovalenko said. Frankfurt am Main is one of the financial centers of Western Europe. We expect that the Belarusian Investment Forum at the Euro Finance Week will generate an interest of the international financial organizations in the Belarusian economy, Viktor Kovalenko noted. The forum will include various sections to discuss banking activity, innovations, logistics, the issues related to the Customs Union. The Belarusian Investment Forum will allow Belarus not only to establish investment cooperation but enhance the image of the country.
