International Youth Festival to open in Vitebsk 5 August
VITEBSK, 5 August (BelTA) – The International Youth Festival is opening in Vitebsk on 5 August, BelTA learnt from the Palace of Creativity of Children and Youth of the Zheleznodorozhny District of Vitebsk. Partaking in the festival will be over 100 young people from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Sweden, Switzerland, Norway and Finland. They are to take part in sports and role-playing games, clay modeling, Belarusian belt making and dance courses. On 7 August a performance in Pokrovskaya Street will be dedicated to world-famous artist Marc Chagall. The program of the festival also includes a ballad song soiree, a club for the lightheaded and quick-witted, tours of Vitebsk, numerous concerts. The forum will be wrapped up with a gala-concert on 9 August. The festival is meant for boosting communication between young people of different people as well as molding creativity potential. The organizers of the festival is the civil organization Christian Cooperation between Adults and Youth, the Palace of Creativity of Children and Youth of the Zheleznodorozhny District of Vitebsk.
