A leasing company will be set up in Belarus, Economy Minister Nikolai Zaichenko said at a session of the Council of Ministers on December 23, BelTA informs. It is one of the anti-crisis measures that are to be implemented in H1 2009. A leasing company will help advance Belarusian goods to the foreign market. The Economy Minister informed the participants of the session on a planned reconsideration of the National Bank’s decision to cancel upfront payments. Besides, in 2009 the issue of discounting feedstock and materials should be implemented. It is especially important for the Belarusian Steel Works. On the whole, the anti-crisis measure programme is open for addenda, Nikolai Zaichenko said.
