LUKOIL plans to start producing lubricants in Novopolotsk, President of LUKOIL oil company Vagit Alekperov told reporters after the meeting with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko. According to him, during a meeting with the Belarusian leader “the sides discussed the issue related to the setting up of the manufacture of lubricants at the joint venture producing additives, which has been created on a parity basis with Belarusian colleagues”. “This is a large project which will require modernizing the existing facilities. We have got an approval of the Belarusian President to set up a working group for preparing the feasibility analysis,” he said.
