MINSK, 2 September (BelTA) – A one-time benefit of Br500,000 will be provided to public sector employees and pensioners regardless of their incomes, Vice Premier of Belarus Anatoly Tozik told BelTA in an interview. “It is difficult to determine the top eligible income this is why it was decided to provide support to all public sector workers and pensioners,” said the Vice Premier. “A payment of Br500,000 will come first. Later on better social support will be provided through higher pensions (as from 1 November 2011 in line with the relevant decree) and a higher base pay for first-rate workers (probably as from 1 November 2011, too).
