OSCE observation mission arrives in Minsk November 12
MINSK, 12 November (BelTA) – The OSCE observation mission is to arrive in Belarus on November 12, BelTA learnt from Secretary of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Belarus Nikolai Lozovik. Thirteen members of the OSCE international observation mission led by Ambassador Gert Arens are expected to arrive in Minsk on November 12, Nikolai Lozovik informed. Mr Gert Arens will lead the OSCE observation mission in Belarus for the third time. The mission members are set to meet with Lidia Yermoshina, the chairperson of the Central Election Commission, on November 15. Nikolai Lozovik informed that the CEC took a decision to accredit 40 OSCE long-term observers. The list of candidates has already been submitted to the CEC. Around 400 foreign experts will arrive in Belarus for short-term monitoring of the presidential elections.
