Thirty-four countries take part in Slavonic Bazaar in Vitebsk
VITEBSK, 9 July (BelTA) – Representatives of 34 countries are taking part in the 19th International Art Festival, Slavonic Bazaar in Vitebsk, First Deputy Culture Minister of Belarus Vladimir Karachevsky said at a ceremony to open the international press center of the festival on 9 July. The festival in Vitebsk is a wonderful celebration of friendship and art and therefore the number of its participants increases from year to year, Vladimir Karachevsky said. “This year’s forum will bring new names and discoveries. As in previous years it will surprise and amaze its participants,” Vladimir Karachevsky is sure. The festival will be covered by around 500 journalists from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Moldova, Latvia, Lithuania, Germany, China, Information Minister of Belarus Oleg Proleskovsky said. The largest press teams are from Belarus and Russia. Belarus is represented by more than 60 mass media outlets. Russia has accredited 70 reporters. The 19th International Art Festival, Slavonic Bazaar in Vitebsk, will be held on 9-15 July. However, many popular signers already gave concerts in advance of the opening of the festival.
