There are no prerequisites for de-escalation of the military and political situation in the world, Valery Revenko, Chief of the International Military Cooperation Department, Aide for International Military Cooperation to the Belarusian Defense Minister, said at a briefing on topical issues of military policy, construction and development of the Armed Forces of Belarus, BelTA learned. 

Belarus’ Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office and other International Organizations in Geneva Larisa Belskaya and the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation Gennady Gatilov held a joint briefing for the diplomatic corps in Geneva to present the initiative of Belarus and Russia to develop the Eurasian Charter of Diversity and Multipolarity in the 21st century, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.

A delegation of Belarus’ Central Election Commission (CEC) will take part in an international mission to observe elections of members of the parliament in the Republic of Tajikistan. The elections are scheduled for 2 March, representatives of Belarus’ CEC told BelTA.
