There are no prerequisites for de-escalation of the military and political situation in the world, Valery Revenko, Chief of the International Military Cooperation Department, Aide for International Military Cooperation to the Belarusian Defense Minister, said at a briefing on topical issues of military policy, construction and development of the Armed Forces of Belarus, BelTA learned. 

Belarus’ Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office and other International Organizations in Geneva Larisa Belskaya and the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation Gennady Gatilov held a joint briefing for the diplomatic corps in Geneva to present the initiative of Belarus and Russia to develop the Eurasian Charter of Diversity and Multipolarity in the 21st century, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.

Minsk is set to host an anniversary meeting of the Belarusian-Austrian Business Council, Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI) Mikhail Myatlikov told the media, BelTA has learned.

As of 1 February 2025, a total of 143,936 large families have opened deposit accounts in Belarus under the family capital program, including 82,600 deposit accounts to the total amount of $826 million and 61,300 deposit accounts to the total amount of Br1,6 billion, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Labor and Social Security Ministry.

More than 160,000 foreigner nationals from 159 countries received medical treatment in Belarus in 2024, the head of the state-run project “Clinics of Belarus” Yan Bedushevsky said at a press conference, BelTA has learned.
