Lukashenko extends Independence Day greetings to Armenia

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended greetings to Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan as the country celebrates Independence Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Minsk and Yerevan have managed to build an integral architecture of interstate interaction, ensure a high level of trade and economic ties, strengthen partnership within the framework of integration structures, creating a reliable foundation for consolidation of traditionally friendly relations between our peoples in a short historical period,” reads the message of greetings to Vahagn Khachaturyan. “I am convinced that the successful implementation of joint projects will open up new growth opportunities for the two countries and contribute to the systematic expansion of the multifaceted Belarusian-Armenian cooperation.”

In his message of greetings to Nikol Pashinyan, Aleksandr Lukashenko stated that the two countries enjoy traditionally friendly relations, which have become the basis for constructive interaction in all areas. The head of state praised the successful implementation of joint projects in machine-building, forestry, transport, and construction. “I am confident that fruitful bilateral contacts will continue to promote effective use and increase the potential of close partnership between our countries,” the president said.
