The agreement with China will facilitate Belarus’ services exports, Belarusian Economy Minister Yuri Chebotar said as he presented the bill on ratification of the agreement between the governments of Belarus and China on trade in services and investment in the House of Representatives, BelTA learned from the press service of the Economy Ministry.

One of the features of the 2025 budget will be the expansion of powers of local authorities of the basic territorial level, Belarusian Finance Minister Yuri Seliverstov said in an interview with the Economy of Belarus Magazine.

Media appearances of presidential candidates will be aired in Belarus starting from 8 January, BelTA has learned.

The opportunities for early use of the family capital have been expanded in Belarus as from 1 January, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Labor and Social Security Ministry.  

The Belarusian Ministry of Internal Affairs is open to dialogue and is ready to consider any areas of mutually beneficial cooperation with Iraqi law enforcers, Minister of Internal Affairs Ivan Kubrakov said at a meeting with his Iraqi counterpart Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, BelTA was informed in the Interior Ministry. 

On 29 December 2024 bishops around the world celebrated the opening of the 2025 Holy Year with Masses in their cathedrals to mark the jubilee, which is themed “Pilgrims of Hope”. The Masses were celebrated with the Rite of the Opening of the Jubilee Year.
