MINSK, March 30 (BelTA) – The Postavy region of the Vitebsk oblast and Johvi Commune of Estonia have signed a cooperation agreement. VITEBSK, March 26 (BelTA) - The Days of the Vitebsk oblast will be held in the Latgale region of Latvia, BelTA learnt from deputy chair of the economy department of the Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee Konstantin Chorny.
The Latgale region of Latvia which borders on the Vitebsk oblast supports close contacts with Belarus. The region incorporates six administrative districts (Balvi, Ludza, Rezekne, Preili, Kraslava and Daugavpils).
