Belarus, Laos agree to expand mutual agricultural supplies

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Vietnam and concurrently to Laos Vladimir Borovikov met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Laos Bounleua Phandanouvong during his visit to Vientiane, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in Vietnam.

The parties discussed topical issues of bilateral relations and mutual support in international organizations. Special consideration was given to the development of the legal framework between the two countries.

Ambassador Vladimir Borovikov also met with Deputy Minister for Agriculture and Forestry of Laos Thongphat Vongmany to discuss the expansion of mutual supplies of agricultural and food products.

An agreement on joint cultural and educational events was reached with the chairwoman of the Laos-Belarus Friendship Society, Vice President of the Lao Women's Union Thamma Phetvixay.
