Equatorial Guinea health minister impressed by Belarus' pharmaceutical production

During his visit to the Belmedpreparaty pharmaceutical company, Minister of Health and Social Welfare of Equatorial Guinea Mitoha Ondo'o Ayekaba told journalists that he was impressed by the scale of pharmaceutical production in Belarus, BelTA has learned.

According to him, the program of his visit to Minsk is very busy. “We have already studied your capacities to produce various kinds of medical equipment, medicines. It is impressive,” Mitoha Ondo'o Ayekaba said.

He admitted that he was impressed by the scale of Belarus' production of medicines and medical equipment. He said that he was aware of the country's self-sufficiency in pharmaceutical products.

“We just need to sit down at the negotiating table and thrash out some points and specify what we would like to order from Belarus,” the minister said.

In general, Mitoha Ondo'o Ayekaba believes that Belarus' healthcare strategy is absolutely right. “We would like to adopt this experience. Today we have been told about your achievements in reducing maternal and child mortality, in transplantation. You have very good indicators,” he added.
