The administration of the free economic zone (FEZ) Vitebsk has registered two new companies founded by the Belarusian investors. The founders intend to put over ?4 million in the implementation of the projects, BelTA learnt from the FEZ administration. The Eurokirpich Company plans to develop the facing brick production under the dolomite superpressure technology that is yet unmatched in the country. The superpressure process differs from the traditional technologies in low power intensity and production wastelessness. The cost of the project will total nearly ?3.2 million. The founders plan to build new production grounds and purchase up-to-date European equipment, create more than 40 working places. The products will be export-oriented and will go to the European market. The second FEZ resident, the AlliancePlast Company, intends to set up the production of food and consumer plastic packaging with the use of In-Mould Labels (IML) technology. The technology will allow AlliancePlast clients to intensify the production process, reduce the expenditure on in-mound labeling and protect it from forgery. The founder of the company is set to put over ?1 million in the production development in 2008-2010 and create 20 new jobs. The output of IML packaging is scheduled for Q1 2009. The products will be exported to the CIS markets. Founded on August 4 1999, the FEZ Vitebsk has 33 registered residents with the participation of the investors from 13 countries including Germany, the USA, Great Britain, Canada, Czech Republic, Poland and Russia. The companies-residents specialize in the fuel, chemical, light, engineering industry and production of foodstuffs.
