Glubokoye hosts nationwide contest “Best Assistant of Cooperative Shops”

Twenty-four shop assistants from all regional unions of consumer cooperatives have gathered in Glubokoye today for the nationwide contest “Best Assistant of Cooperative Shops”, Elena Tukhfatullina, the chief of the trade department of the Vitebsk oblast union of consumer cooperatives, told BelTA.

Young shop assistants, the girls under 25, will be working in the shops in Glubokoye for two days. They will show their skills in servicing the customers, designing shop windows and also will demonstrate their knowledge of consumer rights laws. The shop assistants will be assessed by a jury panel and regular customers, Elena Tukhfatullina said.

Twelve finalists will be named after the first day of the contest. The prizes will be awarded to the winner, youngest participant and to the salesgirl who gains affection of customers. The winners of the nationwide contest “Best Professional” will be admitted to Belarusian Trade and Economy University of Consumer’s Cooperation in Gomel and trade colleges.
