President lauds Vityas efforts in exploring new product areas

The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, has praised the work underway at Vityas, a major Belarus’ TV manufacturer, bring new competitive products to the market, including construction materials, that enabled the enterprise to compensate for the unprofitable products. At the same time he stressed that one should not ruin the production of the major product - television sets. “High technology is of prior importance. The time will come when high tech production will be in great demand,” the President said. The President has noted it is essential to gain experience in the area of high technology in order to push further the development of other branches of the economy. While visiting Vityas, the President focuses on diversification of production, resource- and energy saving and technological upgrade through the implementation of modern world-class technologies and equipment.
