Vitebsk hosts 6th International Investment Forum

Official delegations and businessmen from 10 countries worldwide are taking part in the 6th International Investment Forum Investments for Business and Regions Development in Vitebsk, BelTA learnt in the economy committee of the Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee. The main goal of the forum is to present the possibilities of companies and regions of the Vitebsk oblast to attract foreign investments. More than 160 investment projects will be presented by the national participants of the forum. This year, a special attention will be paid to presentation of the potential of small towns and rural areas. Moreover, participants of the forum will consider the projects dealing with road services and logistics infrastructure development. A presentation of unused real estate will be held at the forum as well. A discussion about the advantages of interregional economic cooperation will become one of the main issues of the gathering. Representatives of diplomatic missions of the Russian Federation, Slovakia, Poland, Bulgaria and also banking and commercial structures of a number of countries will make reports about the prospects of the cooperation in trade and economic area. Guests of the international forum will have business meetings at the Free Economic Zone Vitebsk, at companies of Vitebsk including the companies with foreign capital. The forum will be running through October 10. The 6th International Investment Forum Investments for Business and Regions Development has been organized by the Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee and the Vitebsk Oblast Marketing Centre.
