At a reception on behalf of the President of Belarus on Old New Year's Day, President Alexander Lukashenko drew attention to the fact that the quality of life is not only related to the economy and production, but first of all depends on the people themselves, BELTA reports.
The President reminded that during the past year 2023 Belarus has been moving towards peace through creation, strengthening the unity, values and foundations of the Belarusian state.
This year has been declared the Year of Quality in Belarus. "I want you to understand that quality is not only about the economy and production. It is first of all about people," drew attention the head of state.
"What is the essence? If every person, Belarusian, our guest, our neighbors, friends will live this year together with us and remember it as the Year of Quality, then it will work out. Therefore, we should do everything to make the quality concept permeate every person," Alexander Lukashenko explained.
The President emphasized that Belarus knows how to do everything for people's lives, but sometimes there is a lack of quality: "We know how to do, we know how to live, but we need to do it in a quality way."
